In September 2016, third year LLB student Dominic Suffolk was awarded the Neuberger Prize by Lincoln’s Inn. The Prize is awarded each year to five students from across the UK who are ‘of proven excellence’. Dominic commented;
“The prestigious Neuberger Prize is awarded to students with a clear desire for a career at the Bar. As part of the Prize, which will be presented during a ceremony in London next month, I will be awarded £1,000 as well as free membership of Lincoln’s Inn with a view to providing access to the Bar to an audience that might not ordinarily have access.
I am delighted to have won such a prestigious prize and now look forward to the unique opportunity of attending Lincoln’s Inn as a student member to learn from individuals at the top of the profession. Winning this award has reaffirmed my belief that a career at the Bar is achievable. I would like to thank Lancashire Law School for their support during this process, without which, this achievement would not have been possible.”
